What is e-Bike Remote Diagnostic (eBRD)?
The e-Bike Remote Diagnostic is a technical solution using internet technology to diagnose the e-bike, it is consisted of e-biker’s computer and technician’s computer loaded with special remote software, internet connection service,usb cable (connected to e-bike display), comm interface (only needed for some e-bike models).
How does eBRD work?
The e-Biker contact us or technicians who is using our eBRD solution, and makes an appointment for this remote diagnostic service, and then just connects his computer to the display of e-bike via usb cable, and launches our special remote software to request connection, the technician accepts to build the connection successfully, then he can run the diagnostic application from his computer to diagnose the e-bike at the remote end.
What is the benefit of eBRD to e-bike owner?
For some e-Bike owners, there are no dealerships nearby their place, they have to ride or take the e-bike by car to the dealership located far away, it will spend to much time for them.
With the eBRD, the e-Bike owners can just stay home and connect to the technicians via internet, then his e-bike can be diagnosed, the e-bike owners can save money and time.
Which brands of e-Bike can the eBRD work on?
Currently the eBRD can support the e-bikes equipped with Bosch e-bike system 2. Yamaha e-bike system, as well as Panasonic e-bike system.
please note for now the eBRD only can support middle motor, more OEMs will be supported in soon future.
